I was introduced to Mr Steve Gibson of Gibson Heritage Homes to build my home from Architent’s plans that I had previously had in my possession. Steve was very helpful with suggestions and ideas that he had on the best way to build my home to my liking.

It soon became evident that my plans and alterations that were required by the Builder, Council and Architect this was going to make the building of my house difficult.

Steve took on this task with enthusiasm to assist me with the alterations and the process of building my house. Steve put in many extra hours contracting bricklayers, electricians, plumbers and tilers that resulted in a house of superior quality. Friends and visitors have all commented on the quality of Steve’s work.

This was a challenge for Steve and myself, and I being a single person, we believe that building this house to its completion was a great achievement for us both.

I thank Steve Gibson for the hours he spent on site and for that extra mile he committed himself to and the magnificent finish of my home in Rosslyn Park, South Australia.

I have known Steve Gibson for approximately ten years, during which time he has impressed me with his integrity and high moral standards, both personally and also in the way he conducts himself in business. He is a credit to the building industry.

I believe it is a combination of these personal standards, ethics, building knowledge and attention to detail Steve displays as the Managing Director of Gibson Heritage Homes that are the reasons the business is the success that it is today.

I have sufficient confidence in Steve’s ability to build a quality home that I have engaged Steve to build my own home.  Steve provides a very “hands on” personal and individual service simply not obtainable from a larger volume builder.

Furthermore, it is apparent that Steve has a quality work force of trades people around him, because the standard of the work provided is of an extremely high nature. There is an old saying in the building industry, “a builder is only as good as the trades men he employs”. Steve demands the best from his sub-contractors.

Steve is an extremely experienced builder who has developed a reputation for building a quality product. He keeps up to date with that latest BCA, (Building Code of Australia), Standards and Regulation changes as a member of the Housing Industry Association. He is an active member and regular attends HIA ongoing professional development programs.

Steve is very professional in his business operations and a fine example of a member who adheres to the Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards expected of an HIA member.
